PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Sit comfortably anywhere you go in the Coleman Woodsman II Folding Chair. Made from durable aluminum and polyester, this portable camping chair supports up to 225 pounds. AMAZON.COM Ideal for sporting events, camping, and other outdoor activities, the Coleman Woodsman II chair provides convenient seating in a classic design you can take anywhere. The Woodsman II is made of sturdy powder-coated aluminum that supports up to 225 pounds, helping it hold up to heavy use. The chair is also extremely comfortable, with a cloth seat and wide back. Best of all, the chair folds down like a stool and weighs only 1.78 pounds, so it's easy to pack the Woodsman II and take it camping, to a friend's house, or out in the backyard. About Coleman More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a "no light, no pay" clause--a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked--and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark. In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company's current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won't deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

Updated Classic, still a great foldable stool.
Iconic design updated with newer materials. What's not to love?

Bask rest isn't very sturdy
Great for a small person or a kid, but didn't work for my husband

Strong but uncomfortable.
I have to echo an earlier review. Not very comfortable, and without a carrying strap or handle it's a bit awkward to carry.

better than tri chairs, long-term
This the best fold up chair, hands down! for camping, for range day, 4th of July, waiting in line at an amusement park! I recommend everyone get their own. I DONT recommend the trifold piece with/without the legs either. That IS saved space, but time wasted looking for and crafting sticks that may or may not be sturdy or wide enough to hold you up. The one that I got with the legs, one of the poles eventually dented and then was just unusable. Marines! I first used a tri-fold that at the 2nd year (180lbs) broke while in the boat in quarters before lights out. But using this while coaching at range and hangouts at the smoke pit at the bricks, sometimes at the grill, was very versatile and easy enough to spot when someone tried to take it from it's place. Unfortunately my MCX purchased one was given away, so I bought it again here on amazon after arriving home from service. Civilians: as useful as it was camping, it was even more useful for my friend at a theme park. That person had a traffic collision 2 years ago that make long walks and standing long periods just agony. This helped the wait times at the Six-Flags we went to. We even hooked/looped all our (EXPENSIVE in-park) drinks to find them easier at the "store your stuff" at every ride. even garage hangouts, backyard stuff, this fold chair is best!

Don't leave home without one!
I have two of these stools now and keep one in the car. Great to have something comfortable to sit on watching grandsons play Little League ball.

Sturdy but uncomfortable
The good: Lightest weight camp chair I’ve found, without sacrificing sturdiness. Very easy to fold and unfold (purchased for a senior citizen with limited mobility so this is important). Bonus, it has a back! The bad: Extremely uncomfortable! We are smaller people so the height is fine, but it’s a really narrow seat and measured a full inch narrower than stated in the description. Thighs also rest on the steel bar across the front—ouch! No carry strap! Really? It’s a portable chair, not an especially cheap one, and they couldn’t include a basic handle? This and the back make it unwieldy to carry any distance even though light. Keeping it strictly to have as a backup in the trunk of my car. Got a stool with carry case that weighs an extra pound but is much more portable. Overall quality seems decent and this could be a great chair with a few design tweaks.

Support, lightweight, simple
I have a collection of outdoor seating options. Ultralight Foam sit pad to ultra expensive Snow Peak arm chair. This is my new favourite - packs up simply and FLAT. Light as, and offers some back support.
